Carson Benner is a lifelong advocate for community, sustainability, and education. A proud member of the McMinnville area, Carson has served on the boards of Habitat for Humanity and the McMinnville Education Foundation, and played a key role in passing two major school funding bonds over the past decade. With more than 15 years of volunteer service in McMinnville School District. He firmly believes that strong public education is the foundation of a thriving community.
Carson grew up in a construction family, building his own family home alongside his father during his senior year of high school in a small Northern California town. He later earned a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. His career began at Evergreen International Airlines, where he rose to the position of Vice President of Material, leading a global team of over 50 and overseeing a $300M+ annual budget.
In 2008, Carson joined Cellar Ridge Construction as a co-owner, becoming sole owner in 2019. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a regional leader in sustainable building practices, with a focus on high-performance, green-certified homes and commercial projects. He brings both business acumen and a deep passion for environmentally responsible construction to every project.
Above all, Carson is a devoted husband and father of two. Outside of work, you’ll find him outdoors—biking, trail running, rafting, or hiking throughout Oregon’s incredible landscapes.
