Not-So Big House

This new home is being built outside of Carlton and includes a unique heating system. A domestic hot water heater heats water, which is run through piping inlayed in the cement slab floor to heat the home. Extra heat will be gained from an highly efficient wood burning stove. This house has a very small area foot print, as well as carbon footprint. Most waste materials from this project were recycled. The features of this house coupled with its practical size allowed the family to move in exactly four months after breaking ground.
